Dthree Studio is a finalist for ‘Fit Out Contractor of the Year’ with SBID International Awards
The SBID International Design Awards attract design entries from around the world, so Dthree are truly honored to have been selected as a finalist for the 2021 ‘Fit Out Contractor of the Year’ with our transformation at Power Road Studios.
Power Road Studios was an extensive and considered refurbishment that focused on creating a ‘well working’ community, for the benefit of both the internal tenants, and external neighbourhood.
Built in the 1930’s and originally a Singer sewing machine factory, Power Road Studios has been transformed into a creative campus and is now home to a range of dynamic and innovative businesses.
Creating a Community:
Brunswick Property Partners appointed Dthree Studio to reposition the building as a creative and entrepreneurial working hub, with a focus on community. This then stemmed into three simultaneous projects across the site, all with diverse and unique briefs. Dthree developed these projects concurrently, with a carefully considered programme and subcontractor schedule, which allowed efficiencies of resource to be used.
The Final Result:
The purpose of this development was to enhance the user experience, through a considerable amount of thought, care and attention to detail. As a result, the building now offers a social spot for businesses to come together, whether it’s for a morning coffee, a bite to eat, or to participate in one of the many events, such as; yoga, food and retail pop-ups, table tennis tournaments and networking drinks.
