Programme:
- Design development: 4 weeks
- On site: 5 weeks
Brief:
The brief entailed exploring a partially fitted CAT A + on behalf of the landlord, to aid in capturing potential tenants attention to this unique building. The CAT A fit out to the space was of a high standard, so our role was to be considerate and complimentary when designing around services, whilst creating a part fitted offering that stood out from competitors in the area. The floor was fully planned to appeal to a wide range of industries by using flexible furniture pieces to provide multiple opportunities.
Implementation:
The main focus of the fit out was to the front portion of the building, which was focused on to aid the experience and journey of tenant viewings, acting as a marketing suite in itself, whilst also providing valuable infrastructure to any tenant that took the space, with 2 fully fitting meeting rooms, and a fully functioning large teapoint. The finishes chosen were eclectic and bold to contrast and stand out against the industrial and architectural core palette of the CAT A space, with considerate small details within furniture, signage and other elements that further enhanced this space.
Result / Final Outcome:
An engaging space that provided an alternative offering to more standardised CAT A + offerings.
