Programme:
- Design development: 8 weeks
- Construction: 10 weeks
Brief:
Lee Marley wanted to create collaborative and open plan management space, with a focus on brand led features throughout to showcase their work to potential clients. They needed a flexible and agile workplace that would support their new collaborative approach, as well as allow for future growth. Supporting quiet working areas and down time was still required throughout the space.
Implementation:
To enhance their brand presence, whilst showcasing their work, Dthree worked closely with Lee Marley on the front of house feature brick wall with stone signage. This also creates a strong sense of arrival for who enter the space.
To ensure the space would adapt and support business growth, we designed a built in bench with flexible screens which can be used in a variety of scenarios. The large meeting room also doubles up as a perfect events space, company meeting suite and collaboration area.
Aesthetics and functionality work hand in hand throughout the space, upholding and supporting the importance of showcasing their quality of brand, products and services. To avoid floor boxes being on show across the floorplate, we installed a brand new resin floor and ran the power through the feature walls and columns to the necessary locations throughout the space.
To ensure the space allowed supported quiet working, we installed floor standing acoustic panels to help divide the space and provide distraction free zones. There are also acoustic panels fixed to the wall along the agile bench, so that collaboration is supported whilst also allowing for those down time moments.
Result / Final outcome:
The result is a high-quality, collaborative and flexible workplace, with plenty of room for future growth with a focus on brand exposure and presence.
